Always on social media? Love attending PCC? Why not get paid to do both? As a Social Media Student Ambassador, you’ll turn your scrolling, posting, and storytelling skills into real-world experience in marketing and content creation.

Capture what makes PCC awesome – whether it’s your classes, student life, campus events, or hidden gems – and share it with the community. Plus, you’ll work with PCC’s Marketing & Communications team, build your portfolio, and have a blast along the way. Ready to level up your social media game and make an impact? Let’s get started!

What is a social media ambassador?

A Social Media Ambassador is a student storyteller, content creator, and PCC advocate all rolled into one! You’ll use your creativity and social media savvy to showcase what it’s like to be a PCC student. You can be on camera or behind the scenes – either way, we want to see PCC through your eyes. Using Instagram Reels, posts, and event coverage, you’ll help share the real PCC experience with current and future students.

What you’ll do

• Create Instagram and TikTok posts weekly highlighting campus life, events, programs, and resources.
• Attend two PCC events per term and share them on social media.
• Host one Instagram Story takeover per term to give followers a behind-the-scenes look 51ÁÔÆæÈë¿Ú.
• Engage with PCC’s official social media accounts by liking, commenting, and sharing.
• Meet every other week with the Marketing team to brainstorm and plan content.

Time commitment: Approx. 6 hours per week (60 hours per term)

Who we’re looking for

We’re searching for creative, outgoing, and reliable students who love social media and are passionate about PCC! If you enjoy capturing moments, following trends, and creating content that resonates, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Minimum qualifications:

• Current PCC student in good academic, financial, and behavioral standing.
• Comfortable using Instagram Reels and/or TikTok.
• Ability to create engaging, high-quality content.
• Committed to maintaining a positive online presence.
• Must follow and engage with PCC’s official social media accounts.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with video editing, photography, or graphic design.
• Involvement in PCC student organizations, clubs, or activities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Interest in social media trends, digital marketing, or content strategy.
• Familiarity with PCC campuses, resources, and student services.
